Heka Hoods on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Finance Officer to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance, with either part-time or full-time hours.

You will work with internal teams and external advisers, maintain accurate records, and support month-end close, BAS/IAS, and supplier payments, with a focus on reliability and process improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
• Sound knowledge of payroll, tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Experience using Xero and Microsoft Excel
• Degree, Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting or a related field (desirable)

Heka Hoods is a nationally recognised business, locally owned and operated, established right here on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We design and manufacture aluminium awnings and hoods and pioneered the first bracket-less awning system. We are committed to creating building products that are both beautiful and intuitive to use.

We’re seeking a Senior Finance Officer who values accuracy, consistency and supporting others through dependable financial administration. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining orderly systems, enjoys working within clear processes, and appreciates being a trusted support to the wider business.

The Role

As our Finance Officer, you will play a key role in keeping the financial foundations of the business running smoothly. You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, payroll and compliance requirements, while working closely with internal teams and external advisers.

This is a role for someone who prefers doing things properly, values reliability and enjoys contributing behind the scenes to the success of the business.

Both Part Time and Full Time work schedules will be considered, applicants are encouraged to apply and advise of their preferred work hours.
