Quinn Allan is partnering with ACSI to recruit a Part-time Finance Manager (0.6 FTE) to lead day-to-day finance, financial reporting and business partnering for a purpose-driven organisation. The role oversees a small team, manages budgeting, forecasting and compliance, and collaborates with senior stakeholders in a flexible, hybrid Melbourne setting.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance, strong management accounting, and expertise in month-end, tax and external reporting.
Part-time Finance Manager leading finance for a purpose-driven organisation representing Australia's leading super funds and institutional investors.
Quinn Allan is proud to partner with ACSI (Australian Council of Superannuation Investors), a member-based organisation that provides a strong voice on financially material sustainability and corporate governance risks and opportunities.
Established in 2001, ACSI's members include Australian and international asset owners and institutional investors representing more than $1.9 trillion in funds under management. Through research, company engagement and public policy advocacy, ACSI supports members in exercising active ownership, which enhances the long‑term value of the retirement savings entrusted to them to manage, while driving meaningful improvements in corporate sustainability and governance practices of the companies in which they invest.
With a highly engaged, collaborative culture and a clear sense of purpose, ACSI offers the opportunity to contribute to an organisation making a genuine impact across Australia's investment and superannuation landscape.
This newly available Finance Manager opportunity has arisen as part of a planned leadership transition within the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Finance & Corporate Services, the role will take ownership of ACSI's day-to-day finance function while leading a small team and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Offered on a 0.6 FTE basis (22.5 hours per week), the position combines technical accounting, financial control, reporting, team leadership and business partnering responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in month‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and financial decision-making, while maintaining strong relationships with external advisors and service providers.
Given the size of the organisation, this is a genuinely hands‑on role where you'll remain involved in both the preparation and review of financial information while helping develop finance processes, systems and capability across the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking meaningful work, flexibility and ownership within a respected purpose‑led organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will be a technically strong and hands‑on finance professional who enjoys operating in a collaborative, high-accountability environment. You will be comfortable balancing strategic responsibilities with day‑to‑day financial management while partnering effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
