Job summary

The Moir Group is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with product development and finance teams to oversee development cost performance and financial control across a global business. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will influence processes and drive improvements in cost reporting.

You will lead a small team of accountants, review capitalised development costs, analyse variances, and support budgeting and forecasting with FP&A, delivering timely insights for senior

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a technology or software environment.
• Strong stakeholder management across finance and non-finance teams.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product development and finance teams to provide financial insights and explain cost drivers.
• Review capitalised development cost calculations.
• Analyse variances against budget and prior periods, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with FP&A.
• Lead and coach a small team of accountants.
• Drive process improvements across finance and development cost reporting.
