Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Finance Manager - General Ledger to join our Corporate Finance team in Adelaide. You will lead the month-end close, ensure ledger integrity, and partner with senior leaders to deliver insights that drive performance across Australia and New Zealand.

Ideally, you are a Chartered Accountant (ANZ) with extensive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a commercial mindset to balance technical accounting with business partnering and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship with Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
• Chartered Accountant ANZ qualified.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and reporting for Australian and New Zealand operations.
• Oversee general ledger, labour and payroll costings.
• Manage financial control risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to deliver insights that support business performance.
