Job summary

Allfire Group, a privately owned leader in fire protection supplies across Australia and New Zealand, seeks a Finance Manager to join the growing finance team and support the next growth stage. The role will provide broad exposure to finance, systems and business improvement, working directly with the CFO to strengthen controls and deliver better insights.

The role covers day-to-day management of finance across Australia and New Zealand, with UK-style governance and AI deployments to improve

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end, reconciliations and external audits.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance team members.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, wholesale or inventory-based business.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the Group's finance function across Australia and New Zealand.
• Ensure accurate, timely and well-controlled financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end, year-end audit, statutory and tax compliance.
• Payroll and cash flow management.
• Develop the finance team and strengthen processes and controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and decision-making.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for growth.
• Drive improvements across systems, automation, reporting and governance.
• Hands-on involvement in AI implementation and governance across finance and operations.
