Job description

Allfire Group is a privately owned, fast-growing leader in fire protection supplies, fabrication and special hazards across Australia and New Zealand. Operating across multiple locations and supporting major construction and infrastructure projects, we are continuing to invest in our people, technology and systems as we scale.

About the role

This is a newly created role with the opportunity to join a growing finance team and support the next stage of Allfire Group's growth. The role provides broad exposure across finance, systems and business improvement, working directly with the CFO to strengthen processes and controls and deliver better financial insights to support decision-making.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group's finance function across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled financial reporting. You will also play a key commercial role in the business, supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and decision-making across the Group. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help translate financial information into meaningful insights that support business performance and growth.

The role will suit someone who is technically strong but also highly practical — someone who understands how transactions flow through the business, can identify where controls or processes need improvement, and works effectively with operational teams to implement better ways of working.

As the Group continues to evolve, the Finance Manager will also contribute to improvements across systems, automation, reporting and finance processes to ensure the function can scale with the business. With a number of AI initiatives already deployed across the Group, this role will also provide hands-on exposure to the implementation, governance and ongoing use of AI across finance and operations.
