Job summary

Anzuk in Melbourne is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, banking and cash management for a prestigious Anglican day and boarding school. You will lead the Finance Team, ensure timely and accurate financial services, and contribute to governance through Finance and Risk Committee involvement.

The role offers a full-time, 12-month maternity leave replacement with December start and handover, and is based at our centrally located Melbourne campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school setting is ideal.
• CA/CPA-qualified accountant preferred.
• Systems experience with Synergetic and Micropay highly regarded.
• Full working rights in Australia essential.
• CV & 2 referees

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting and accounting records.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable, banking and cash flow.
• Oversee school fees administration.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, banking and cash management, school fees administration, and the oversight of key financial processes. The Finance Manager also leads the Finance Team, ensures high-quality service delivery, and contributes to the School's governance through participation in Finance and Risk Committee meetings.
