Bartier Perry Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD invites an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Finance Disputes and Recoveries practice. You will manage mortgage enforcement and recoveries, including possession proceedings and debt recovery across multiple jurisdictions, with significant client contact and ownership of matters.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years post-admission experience in mortgage enforcement, recoveries, finance litigation or debt recovery.
• Strong knowledge of court processes and legislative frameworks relevant to recoveries and enforcement matters.
• Experience managing matters with a high level of autonomy.
• Commercially focused problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied mortgage enforcement and recoveries practice, including possession proceedings and debt recovery claims.
• Provide enforcement action across multiple jurisdictions with significant client contact.
• Take ownership of matters and deliver practical outcomes for clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop specialist expertise within a well-established finance disputes and recoveries practice.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and demonstrate leadership where appropriate.
