Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Discharges Officer to ensure accurate final payment calculations for discharged residents across our Retirement Living and Aged Care Homes. You will investigate payments, interpret contracts, and determine the payable amounts with precision.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in discharges, accounts payable or commissions calculations, plus experience with accounting software and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a discharges function or relevant accounts payable or commissions calculations role.
• Experience with accounts payable or commissions calculation in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to read and interpret legal contracts and use commercial accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
• Australian work rights and willingness to obtain National Crime Check.

We are seeking a Discharges Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for efficient and accurate final payment calculation of the discharged residents of our Retirement Living and Residential Aged Care Homes. The role requires Discharges Officers to investigate payments made, interpret their contract, and calculate what the discharged amount payable will be.

Who are you:

• 2+ Years of experience in a Discharges Function or relevant Accounts Payable or Commissions Calculations role.
• Proven accounts payable or commissions calculation experience in a fast-paced role with high volume.
• Proven experience with commercial accounting software and the ability to read and interpret legal contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills
• Australian work rights and a willingness to submit a National Crime Check application.
