Job summary

QT Canberra is seeking a Finance & Business Support Manager to provide commercial and financial leadership across the property. You will partner with General Managers and Department Heads, drive dashboards and reporting, and support budgeting, forecasting and controls to safeguard assets.

You will bring hotel finance experience, strong data interpretation skills and a proven ability to influence decisions. This on-site role offers a clear path for career growth within EVT's hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• Background in hotel finance or multi-site operational finance.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and influence decisions.
• Proven experience managing financial controls and compliance.
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Managers, Department Heads and Owners to provide commercial and financial support.
• Drive the use of dashboards and reporting tools across all departments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and action planning.
• Maintain strong internal controls, compliance and financial policies.
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting, including revenue, payroll and F&B cost analysis.
• Safeguard assets through effective cash, debtor and stock controls.
• Lead general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly/annual reporting.
• Manage credit, payroll compliance, purchasing and accounts payable processes.
• Coach and develop finance and business support team members.
• Promote a disciplined cost-control culture and commercial mindset across all properties.
