The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in Canberra is seeking a Finance Business Partner at Executive Level 1 to support the Trade and Investment Group with strategic financial guidance and stewardship of budgets.
You will partner with senior leaders, deliver insightful financial analysis, drive budgeting and forecasting, and help build financial acumen across the business while maintaining a client‑focused and professional service in a fast‑paced environment.
The Finance Branch is looking for a talented individual to fill a Finance Business Partner role at the EL1 level. You will act as a trusted advisor in providing support and guidance to Trade and Investment Group within Austrade and will support the Agency in achieving its financial goals and outcomes.
Your strengths will be your client focus and commitment to providing an effective, professional service to your Austrade colleagues built on a solid accounting knowledge base. You will use your ability to identify insights to influence in supporting financial decision making within the Austrade leadership. Additionally, you will have highly developed organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail. Your capacity to respond positively to change will ensure you can operate in our fast-paced work environment.
