Job summary

Export Finance Australia is seeking a Delivery Lead to own end-to-end ERP delivery, from procurement through design, build, testing, deployment and transition, in a Sydney-based, hybrid role.

You will lead integrated planning, governance, partners and workstreams, manage scope, budget and risks, and partner with executives to drive business outcomes across Data, Digital and AI programs.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a delivery leadership role.
  • End-to-end ERP implementation experience in a complex organisation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional business and technology teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a regulated, financial services or Commonwealth environment is desirable.
  • Experience with business change, data migration and transition to managed services is desirable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Recognised program or project management certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Due to ongoing growth and Digital & AI Transformation we are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join the team.

THE ROLE

Location: Sydney

Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Delivery Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of EFA’s ERP implementation, commencing during procurement and continuing through implementation, transition and stabilisation. The role leads integrated planning, governance, partners and workstreams to deliver agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and business outcomes. Following the ERP program, the role will lead this and other priority technology programs within the Data, Digital and AI portfolio.

  • Lead delivery from procurement and mobilisation through design, build, testing, deployment and transition.
  • Manage integrated scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, dependencies and change control.
  • Provide clear reporting, decisions and escalations to sponsors and governance forums.
Partners and stakeholders
  • Manage delivery partners and vendors, including performance, commitments and commercial impacts.
  • Align business, technology, data, security, testing and change workstreams.
  • Build effective relationships with executives, stream leads and subject matter experts.
Outcomes and readiness
  • Maintain focus on business outcomes, benefits, data quality, controls and user readiness.
  • Coordinate testing, cutover, business readiness, knowledge transfer and transition to support.
  • After implementation, lead ongoing ERP initiatives and other priority technology programs.
Team leadership
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary matrix team.
  • Set clear priorities, accountabilities and delivery standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar delivery leadership role.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ERP implementation experience in a complex organisation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional business and technology teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a regulated, financial services or Commonwealth environment is desirable.
  • Experience with business change, data migration and transition to managed services is desirable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Recognised program or project management certification is desirable.
  • Strong program governance, planning, financial, risk and vendor management capability.
  • Demonstratable judgement, communication and problem solving skills.
