Job summary

DKSH ANZ is seeking a senior Commercial Finance professional to lead the LBW (Lifestyles, Beauty and Wellness) category’s financial planning, budgeting and business partnering. You will work across sales, marketing, operations and leadership to drive profitable growth and value creation.

You will partner with regional teams on forecasting, capital allocation and major negotiations, delivering data-driven insights and supporting strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CA ANZ, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A leadership roles within FMCG/Beauty, retail, distribution or other fast-paced industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the full value chain of LBW including revenue, gross profit, EBIT, working capital, inventory and cash flow outcomes.
• Lead as strategic finance partner with sales, marketing, operations and leadership to drive profitable growth.

About the Role

This is a key commercial finance role supporting DKSH ANZ Consumer Goods division especially in the Lifestyles, Beauty and Wellness (LBW) category. Annual sales of over $120mil, rapidly expanding across AU and NZ retailers. The role offers broad exposure across commercial finance, business development, acquisitions and leadership, making it an ideal position for an experienced finance professional seeking a highly visible and impactful role.

What You Will Deliver

• Own the full value chain of the LBW business, including revenue, gross profit, EBIT, working capital, inventory and cash flow outcomes
• Serve as the strategic finance lead, partnering with the sales, marketing, operational and leadership team to drive profitable growth, market share expansion and value creation
• Lead analysis of key drivers focusing on Trade Spend, ROI, COGS analysis, inventory management and cash flow
• Understanding of sales channels and their rebate/discount/terms structure; drawing from prior working experience
• Present financial insights and business performance outcomes to key clients and customers, supporting long-term strategic partnerships
• Financial evaluation of major customer negotiations, client tenders, commercial investments, strategic partnerships and new business opportunities
• Ensure financial plans are aligned with strategic objectives and supported by data-driven, value added insights which are communicated succinctly.
• Monitor performance against plan, identify variances, and provide clear recommendations to all levels of Stakeholders
• Complete annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives including automation, Power BI reporting, advanced forecasting capability, and commercial analytics enhancement.
• Collaborate with global and regional finance teams to implement best practices and leverage synergies
• Leading improvement projects within the country finance teams and business units
• Working closely with corporate BU controlling to improve the finance function with respect to the business partnering, strategy implementation
• Working closely with NZ CG counterparts for monthly reporting, and project roll outs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 7+ years' experience in commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A leadership roles within FMCG/Beauty, retail, distribution or other fast-paced customer-focused industries
• Proven track record in business partnering and supporting commercial decision-making
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project delivery
• CA ANZ, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• High level of judgement and ability to operate under pressure
