Job summary

Savvy Henley Beach is seeking a motivated Trainee Finance Broker to start a finance career from the ground up, learning the full process from enquiry to settlement.

You will work with an experienced broker, assist with applications, gather documents, and progressively take ownership of clients as you gain confidence and knowledge in lending, CRM usage and lender requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new finance enquiries and speak with prospective clients.
• Assist clients with completing finance applications.
• Gather and review supporting documentation.
• Learn how to assess client circumstances and borrowing requirements.
• Prepare and submit applications to lenders.
• Communicate with lenders, dealerships and clients throughout the approval process.
• Follow up outstanding applications, documents and approvals.
• Assist with loan settlements.
• Maintain accurate client and CRM records.
• Learn lender policies, credit requirements and finance structures.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the lending process.
• Develop your own client base and referral network as your experience grows.

Savvy Henley Beach is a locally owned finance brokerage helping individuals and businesses find competitive finance solutions across a wide range of lenders.

Operating with Savvy since 2020, we specialise in asset finance while also assisting clients with personal loans, business finance, equipment finance, debt consolidation and other lending solutions.

With access to a large panel of lenders and a growing client base, Savvy Henley Beach is entering its next stage of growth. With a new office and continued expansion planned, we are looking for the right person to join the business and develop into a successful Finance Broker.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Finance Broker who wants to build a long-term career in finance and lending.

This is an entry-level opportunity where you will work directly alongside an experienced Finance Broker and learn the entire finance process from initial enquiry through to settlement.

No previous finance broking experience is required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills, work ethic and willingness to learn.

You will initially focus on assisting with client enquiries, gathering information, preparing applications and supporting the day-to-day lending process. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will progressively take ownership of clients and develop into a fully functioning Finance Broker.
