Job summary

Jemena is seeking a Finance Automation & Improvement Manager to lead automation, reporting and process improvement across Finance, Data and Technology. You will build a pipeline of improvements, partner with stakeholders and deliver practical solutions from discovery through to benefits realisation.

You will mentor a small team and drive continuous improvement to strengthen controls, decision-making and business value while leveraging Power BI, Databricks and core finance systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or Information Systems; CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Finance operations, including planning, forecasting, reporting and performance insights.
• Ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve ways of working.
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering automation, reporting and data solutions to deliver practical business outcomes.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and other business intelligence tools; S/4HANA experience is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills, with a focus on sustainable improvements and data quality.

• Lead automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
• Build and manage a pipeline of Finance improvement opportunities, balancing impact, effort and risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve decision-making.
• Deliver practical solutions from discovery and design through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Data and Operations to achieve successful outcomes.
• Mentor a small team while driving meaningful change and continuous improvement across the Finance function.
