Job summary

Dixon Appointments Pty in Melbourne seeks a commercially minded Finance Analyst to deliver timely financial reporting, forecasting and performance analysis in a business partner environment. You will provide insights, variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making, and collaborate with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

This role offers a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement and job security in a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualified, or currently studying.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and large dataset analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and commentary for decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Lead and contribute to process improvement across financial reporting and systems.
• Support month-end processes and ongoing financial management activities.
• Assist the Business Performance & Analytics team with ad hoc analysis and projects.
