Job summary

IAG in Australia is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Customer Growth team. You will forecast, budget, and perform financial analysis across growth initiatives, partnering with project managers and stakeholders to drive profitability.

You'll contribute to insights on revenue, claims, and expenses, translating data into actionable recommendations and supporting continuous improvement across reporting processes. This is a 6-month max-term, full-time position in Melbourne or Sydney.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in finance, audit, consulting, accounting, or related analytical discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and identify insights.
• Confidence building relationships with a variety of business stakeholders.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or performance analysis principles.
• Curiosity and learning agility to develop commercial finance expertise.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and practically.
• Experience in complex insurance and financial services environments.

As aFinance Analyst within our Customer Growth team, you'll contribute to forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and financial analysis across a portfolio of growth initiatives. Working closely with project managers, business leaders, and finance colleagues, you'll provide insight into revenue, claims, expenses, and profitability, helping stakeholders understand what's driving performance and where opportunities exist. This is an opportunity to develop as a commercial finance professional, building strong stakeholder relationships while gaining broad exposure to the financial and operational levers that shape business outcomes.

This is a 6-month max-term full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
