Job summary

Suncorp is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to support the governance and ongoing improvement of finance systems that underpin key business outcomes. You will help maintain GL interfaces, reference data, and reporting processes with a balance of systems expertise, accounting knowledge and analytical capability.

You will work with technology teams to address production issues, develop requirements, test releases, and ensure data accuracy across the organisation.

• Experience with finance systems or GL integrations.
• Strong accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Practical insurance finance understanding.
• Ability to analyse complex data and prioritise tasks.
• Experience supporting system changes and testing.

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will support the management, governance, and ongoing improvement of finance systems that underpin key business outcomes. Working within the Finance Services team, you will help maintain the integrity of General Ledger interfaces, finance reference data, and reporting processes. This role combines systems expertise, accounting knowledge, and analytical capability to ensure accurate financial data, support change initiatives, and enhance the effectiveness of finance operations across the organisation.

What You'll Do

• Support accurate and timely General Ledger interface postings across insurance product and claims systems.
• Investigate and resolve data integrity issues to maintain reliable financial information.
• Develop business requirements, participate in testing activities, and support system releases.
• Maintain finance reference data and mapping tables to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Partner with technology teams to address production issues and improve system performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance finance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.\

What You'll Bring

• Experience working with finance systems, product system interfaces, or General Ledger integrations.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting knowledge with an understanding of accounting principles.
• Practical experience in Insurance Finance accounting
• Ability to analyse complex data, solve problems, and manage competing priorities.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, testing activities, and change delivery initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
