Fuji SMBE Harwal Pty Ltd in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support our Accounts team. The role focuses on accurate financial records, audits, bank reconciliations, and year-round financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year experience as accountant.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checking balance sheet and bank reconciliation.
• Reconcile PO and overseas suppliers before GRNI in SMILE.
• Forex P/L reporting for multiple currencies.
• Costing and margin analysis for projects/manufacturing.
• Inventory/WIP, labour and overhead analysis; profitability reviews.
• Assist with year-end auditing and financial reporting.

We are seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Financial Accountant to support our growing Accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career within the Account Team, in the Electrical Manufacturing industry.

About the Role:

As an accountant, it is expected that you assist our company making critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. This includes the responsibility for financial audits, reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Minimum 2-year experience as accountant
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Power BI/Power Query/ Python
• ERP experience
• Effectively communicate in English, verbal and written.

• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking balance sheet and bank reconciliation made by the assistances.
• Reconcile PO and overseas suppliers before GRNI in SMILE.
• Forex P/L report for other currencies invoices, cash on hand and cashflow forecasting.
• Analysis the manufacturing costing, Project/job costing, related costs/Margin.
• Inventory/WIP analysis, Labour and overhead analysis, customer profitability, Project margin analysis, sales forecasting, cost to complete analysis
• Monitoring fortnightly sales report for Singapore.
• Monitoring monthly order on hand report for Singapore.
• Assist internal and external year end auditing and financial report
• Reporting and follow up with ICare Work Comp due to employee's job accident and claim.
• Support FC for tax report to ATO
• Assist with month end and year end, preparing Accrual & Manual Journal, posting payment voucher and Journal Entries to system, final checking and posting customer invoices.
• Support FC for preparing variance analysis and reporting
