Job summary

Robinson Civil Group is seeking an experienced final trim grader operator for regional and remote projects in Far North Queensland. The role focuses on precise final trim work, road formation and earthworks, with GPS/UTS machine control and the ability to work away from home.

You will join a family-owned civil construction team that values safety, reliability and hands-on operation across diverse sites. HR/HC licences and a valid White Card are preferred, with opportunities for overtime and

Qualifications

Grader operating experience in civil construction, roadworks or earthworks.
Construction Industry White Card.
Current driver's licence.
A strong commitment to safety.
Ability to work away from home on regional and remote projects.
Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing.
You don't need to tick every box; capable operator with solid civil experience may still be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform final trim grader operations to specification.
Operate GPS/UTS machine control to grade.
Support road formation and pavement construction.
Carry out earthworks and civil construction tasks.
Meet levels and tolerances as per project specs.
Operate additional plant as needed (excavators, loaders, skid steers, rollers or backhoes).
