Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Bluebird Underground Mine in Western Australia. You will plan and coordinate maintenance for mining equipment and infrastructure, develop maintenance strategies, and schedule activities with Senior Maintenance Planners to keep operations safe and cost-efficient.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical maintenance in underground mining, 2+ years in a planner role, a WA C-class licence, and trade qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in underground mining.
• Minimum 2 years in a Maintenance Planner role.
• Current C Class Manual WA driver’s licence.
• Trade qualifications, certificates and licences.
• Experience with CMMS such as Pronto is desired.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance of Bluebird mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop maintenance strategies and schedule, coordinate, and monitor maintenance of all mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Work with Senior Maintenance Planners to keep assets safe, efficient and cost-effective.
• Organise schedules and work orders for the mobile maintenance team.
• Arrange parts and labour to minimise disruption to mining operations.
• Analyse risk of equipment failure and monitor maintenance costs.
