Job summary

Southern Cross Gold Operations in Western Australia seeks a Maintenance Planner to develop and maintain site maintenance strategies and ensure safe, efficient execution. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will plan corrective, preventive and shutdown maintenance, create schedules and work packs, and drive continuous improvement in work management while coaching contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the mining industry.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Maintenance Planner role on a mine site.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and SAP.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and improve work management processes.
• Driver's licence (Australian).

Responsibilities

• Plan corrective, preventive and shutdown maintenance to maximise efficiency.
• Develop accurate schedules and work packs for maintenance execution.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives in maintenance processes.
• Coach and train staff and contractors in work management.
• Coordinate with contractors for statutory maintenance and cost control.
• Support end-of-month reporting and cost reviews.
