Job summary

PARC Engineering is seeking an experienced SMP Project Engineer to join our team on a 2:1 FIFO roster, supporting structural, mechanical and piping work across a major project. You will manage multiple SMP packages, develop schedules and budgets, and oversee disciplines to meet quality and cost targets.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 5+ years in mining, construction or infrastructure, with strong stakeholder management and client interfacing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with professional relevance.
• 5+ years in SMP, mining, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and international engineering standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple SMP packages on the project.
• Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee discipline work and ensure quality, cost and time targets.
• Interface with the client and maintain strong stakeholder relations.
• Monitor progress, risks and implement controls and mitigations.
