Job summary

PRO Consulting is seeking 6 experienced FIFO Safety Advisors for a major electrical infrastructure project in rural NSW. The roles require a strong electrical background with substations/switchyards experience and a willingness to work FIFO on long-term assignments.

Camp accommodation is provided. Interviews will be conducted via phone or Microsoft Teams, with 10-hour days and a choice of 10/4 or 2/1 rosters. Immediate requirement and multiple positions available.

• Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
• Lead SWMS/JHAs and risk assessments.

FIFO SAFETY ADVISORS – ELECTRICAL / SUBSTATIONS / SWITCHYARDS

PRO Consulting is currently seeking 6 experienced FIFO Safety Advisors for a major long-term electrical /energy infrastructure project in rural NSW.

We are looking for strong Safety Advisors with an electrical background, ideally with previous experience across substations, switchyards, HV infrastructure or major electrical construction projects.

This is a significant project offering at least 2 years of projected work for the right people.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have experience across electrical construction and infrastructure, substations and switchyards, HV environments or other major construction projects.

You should be confident with site safety inspections and audits, SWMS/JHAs and risk assessments, incident investigations and reporting, toolbox talks and pre-starts, contractor compliance, and working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and electrical crews.

Requirements

You will need relevant WHS/OHS qualifications and demonstrated site-based Safety Advisor experience.

Previous substation, switchyard, HV or electrical infrastructure experience is highly desirable and will be given preference. Candidates must be comfortable working FIFO and able to commit to either a 10/4 or 2/1 roster.
