BHP is seeking a Rail Transport Supervisor to join the Rail Operations Mines team on a FIFO site-based roster (7 days on, 7 nights, 14 off). You will lead a team of Rail Transport Technicians and train drivers, coordinating mainline operations and ensuring safety and compliance across WAIO rail activities.

You will enable a safe, productive depot, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams across Rail, Integrated Operations and WAIO mines.

• Strong commitment to safety and risk management in rail operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with peers and leaders.
• Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced operational settings.
• Comfortable working in remote environments with high autonomy.
• Able to prioritise competing tasks and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel and scheduling systems.
• Experience as Train Driver, Live Run Coordinator or Rail Ops leader is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of mainline train drivers and support staff to deliver WAIO’s daily railing schedule on a heavy-haul network.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaged depot culture where the team can perform at their best.
• Enforce compliance with Rail Rulebook, Rail Safety Management Plan, and company standards.
• Identify and mitigate workplace risks through field leadership and risk management practices.
• Collaborate across Rail teams to implement safety, productivity and culture improvements.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions in line with procedures.
• Respond to deviations and breakdowns to safely recover operations.
