Job summary

Spiecapag Australia is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join the Operations team on a project-based FIFO roster across Victoria or South Australia. You will administer project costs, support monthly reporting and forecasting, and review supplier and subcontract financials.

The role requires strong cost control, financial analysis and commercial administration capabilities, with Excel and Sage X3 ERP experience preferred. Applicants must reside in Australia with valid working rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ project financial or cost control experience.
• Experience in FIFO on a project-based roster and in Victoria or South Australia.
• Qualification in Business, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly cost reviews, forecasting and project cost reporting.
• Manage revenue and cost reporting for labour, plant, suppliers and materials.
• Track accruals, forecast costs to complete, cash flow and earned value.
• Review head contracts, subcontracts and supplier progress claims.
• Support Commercial Manager with variations and commercial risk.
• Maintain financial data, cost reports and procurement records.
• Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders.
