Job summary

Mineco, a leading civil and mining services company, seeks experienced Plant Mechanics for projects in the Bowen Basin, QLD. These site-based roles are FIFO from Brisbane with a 7:7 roster, servicing and maintaining large mobile mining equipment including CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr machines.

You will join our in-house maintenance team, work on MiNECO-owned equipment, and contribute to safety, performance and teamwork on major sites across the Bowen Basin with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
• Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Site based Plant Mechanic roles in the Bowen Basin, QLD with FIFO from Brisbane and a 7:7 roster.
• Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi mining equipment.

We are currently seeking experienced plant mechanics to join our team across 2 major projects in QLD's Bowen Basin. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company that values their in-house maintenance team, safety, performance, and teamwork.

About the Role

• Site based Plant Mechanic roles in the Bowen Basin, QLD
• FIFO from Brisbane to Site (Organise your own flights to Brisbane)
• 7:7 Roster
• Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi mining equipment

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
• Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
• Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
