Job summary

CITIC Pacific Mining seeks a Drill Maintenance Leading Hand to lead and support the drill maintenance team on a permanent 2/1 roster. FIFO from Perth. The role focuses on servicing, fault diagnosis and repair of drill fleets, with guidance to trades and service personnel.

Reporting to the Drill Maintenance Supervisor, you will help coordinate daily activities, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across all maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical trade qualification and at least five years experience in mining maintenance.
• Experience leading or mentoring tradespeople and apprentices is desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment fault diagnosis skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the drill fleet.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to tradespersons, apprentices and service personnel.
• Assist the Drill Maintenance Supervisor with planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with OEM specs and CPM standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to junior staff.
