Job summary

MACA Mining is seeking a Leading Hand to join the maintenance team at the Sanjiv Ridge project in WA. The role involves leading the maintenance crew and overseeing servicing of CAT and Komatsu heavy equipment on a 2:1 FIFO roster, with full-time and casual options.

The ideal candidate will have an Australian trade certificate and at least 8 years post-trade mining experience, plus strong leadership and basic computer skills. Expect safety-first operations and opportunities for growth within MACA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant Australian trade certificate.
• Extensive CAT equipment experience on 785C/D is essential.
• Minimum 8 years post-trade experience in mining.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the maintenance team.
• Plan, coordinate servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of heavy mining equipment.
• Adhere to WHS policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately by tradespeople.
• Be proactive to ensure quality work is delivered.
• Follow reasonable directions from the supervisor.
