Job summary

ISS Integrated Serv P/L is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on a 2:1 roster. Roles may be based in Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton and surrounding regions (DIDO) or Brisbane and surrounds (FIFO).

You will partner with the Village Manager to lead the housekeeping team and uphold ISS’s standards of safety and service. Key duties include budgeting, service standard reviews, and recruiting support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven management/supervisor experience in housekeeping and cleaning services.
• Polished presentation and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and strong decision-making capability.
• Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
• Must be a confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Implement and control the department budget.
• Implement and review service standards.
• Assist HR with recruitment and selection of team members.
• Ensure effectiveness of training, performance evaluations and staff counselling.
• Ensure a strong interface with Front Office and other managers as required.
• Provide leadership and coordinate site staff in maintaining a customer-focused and safe working environment.

We are recruiting full‑time Housekeeping Supervisors on a 2:1 roster. Candidates may be based in Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton and surrounding regions on a DIDO arrangement, or in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs on a FIFO arrangement.

Working closely with the Village Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the day‑to‑day operations of our Housekeeping Department while proudly upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence.

• Competitive Annual Wage – $85,000 - $95,000 plus super

Key Duties

• Ensure effectiveness of training, performance evaluations and counselling of staff for the department.
• Ensure a strong interface with Front Office and other managers as required.
• Provide leadership, support and coordinate site staff in maintaining a customer focused and safe working environment.

To be considered:

• Minimum 2yrs proven management/supervisor experience in housekeeping and cleaning services.
• Polished presentation and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and a strong decision‑making capability.
• Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
• Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass a Pre‑employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required.
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions‑focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
