Job summary

ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Chef to join our remote mining kitchen operations on a Fly-In-Fly-Out roster from Perth. You will contribute to delivering nutritious, high-quality meals in a demanding environment while supporting the catering team.

• Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management (essential).
• Proven professional work experience as qualified chef (2–3 years).
• Bulk cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen environment (Desirable).
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements.
• Must pass a full Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Full Working rights in Australia.
• Police Clearance (not older than 12 Months).
• Ability to work 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Airport.

The Opportunity:

ISS is searching for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen operations working Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) roster from Perth Airport to our remote sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you will be working on a 2:1 roster, giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work. Reporting to the Head Chef/Village Manager, you’ll showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic remote mining environment while supporting the catering team to deliver high-quality meals and a positive on-site dining experience for residents.

About the Role:

As Chef, you will participate in kitchen operations while working with fellow qualified chefs to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals with consistency and pride.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals consistently and efficiently
