Job summary

ISS Facility Services Australia and New Zealand is seeking experienced Infrastructure/Inground Plumbers to support water management on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth to Roy Hill Mine Village in WA. You will inspect, maintain and repair below ground potable water and sewerage systems, conduct leak inspections, and lead fault-finding with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence (minimum) and a Certificate IV Plumbing Operations, plus poly

Qualifications

• WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence required.
• Certificate IV Plumbing Operations or equivalent.
• Poly welding competency and confined space entry certification.
• Experience in underground water or sewer infrastructure maintenance, preferably in remote or mining environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair below ground potable water and sewerage infrastructure in the village.
• Conduct daily leak inspections and lead fault finding and repair activities.
• Coordinate with client and external specialists and ensure compliance with WA plumbing legislation and site HSE requirements.
• Work 12-hour days in demanding remote environments; 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking experienced Infrastructure/Inground Plumbers to support efficient water management, minimise service disruptions for village residents, with a strong commitment to safety and service to work on an 8/6 roster from Perth Airport to Roy Hill Mine Village in WA's Pilbara Region.

In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all below ground potable water and sewerage infrastructure within the village. You will conduct daily leak inspections, lead fault finding and repair activities, coordinate with client and external specialists, and ensures compliance with WA plumbing legislation and site HSE requirements. Working 12-hour days in demanding, remote environments means solid fitness and resilience are essential.

To be Considered:

• WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence (minimum).
• Certificate IV Plumbing Operations or equivalent.
• Poly welding competency and confined space entry certification.
• Experience in underground water or sewer infrastructure maintenance, preferably in remote or mining environments.
• High level of fault finding, repair, and compliance documentation skills.
• Experience with remote village maintenance and RO plants. (Desirable)
• Digital work management system experience. (Desirable)
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Ability to work an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth
