Job summary

ISS is seeking an experienced Chef to join our remote Western Australia catering operations. Operate on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Airport to remote sites, reporting to the Head Chef/Village Manager and delivering high-quality meals in challenging environments.

Ideal candidates hold a Cookery Certificate (3/4), have 2–3 years of chef experience, and can pass medical and drug screens. FIFO readiness and full Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Commercial Cookery/ Kitchen Management (or international equivalent) - Essential
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional chef experience - Essential
• Bulk cooking in high-volume kitchen environment - Desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements
• Must pass Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Full Working rights in Australia
• Police Clearance (not older than 12 months)
• Ability to work 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Airport

The Opportunity:

ISS is searching for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen operations working Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) roster from Perth Airport to our remote sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you will be working on a 2:1 roster, giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work. Reporting to the Head Chef/Village Manager, you’ll showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic remote mining environment while supporting the catering team to deliver high-quality meals and a positive on-site dining experience for residents.

About the Role:

As Chef, you will participate in kitchen operations while working with fellow qualified chefs to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals with consistency and pride.

In this role, you will:

• Must pass a full Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Full Working rights in Australia
