Job summary

ISS Integrated Serv P/L is seeking experienced Chefs and Chef Leaders to join a Fly-In-Fly-Out roster to remote sites across Queensland. You will lead breakfast, lunches and dinner, cooking safe, delicious and innovative meals while maintaining contract standards.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work with a dynamic team, receive meals and accommodation on site, and benefit from ongoing training and global opportunities in catering operations.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Certification or Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (essential).
• Current Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one (essential).
• High volume catering experience, bulk catering and banquet experience; or a la carte in high-volume venues/restaurants/hotels.

Responsibilities

• Lead breakfast, takeaway lunches and dinner service for residents.
• Ensure food safety and a strong safety culture in all kitchen operations.

Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Chefs and Chef Leaders to work a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) roster from both Brisbane and regional airports to our remote sites throughout Queensland. We are enhancing the catering and workplace experience in our QLD Villages and your innovation and flare is needed to be a part of the team!

Reporting to the Head Chef and site Catering Leads, this is your chance to break away from the same old kitchen routine. Join ISS and bring fresh, on-trend meals to life for hundreds of residents in our remote villages.

As a Chef, you'll lead breakfast, takeaway lunches, and dinner service — delivering safe, delicious, and innovative food that exceeds expectations and meets all safety and contract standards.

To be considered:

• Australian Trade Certification or Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (essential)
• A current Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one (essential)
• High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience &/or a la carte experience in high volume venues/restaurants/hotels.
• Whatever your experience it is your wish to deliver the best in industry – that is what we are looking for!
• Ability to exceed client expectations in food quality and food safety adherence.
• Able to work a flexible FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport.
• Police Clearance or willing to obtain one and medically fit to pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
