Job summary

Acciona S.A is seeking a reliable Camp Chef (Utility) to join a small team servicing regional campsites. This hands-on role covers meal preparation, cleaning and camp support, with opportunities to guide other general hands.

You will prepare meals in line with menus, maintain food safety standards, drive between sites as required, and support accommodation and guest services while working 11-hour shifts day or night in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Full Australian Driver’s License.
• Ability to endure remote environments and weather conditions.
• Ability to work 11-hour shifts and, day or night shifts as required.
• Cert III in commercial cookery desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with approved menus and dietary requirement.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with cleaning, food service, and general camp duties as required.
• Provide leadership and support to general hands.
• Perform relief duties and assist across camp services.
• Drive staff and transport products between sites as required.
• Oversee staff and guest accommodation standards.
• Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
