Job summary

ISS is seeking an Airport Reporting Officer to join the Carrapateena Mine Village and Airport in South Australia. You will work full-time on an 8:6 roster, 11.5-hour days, delivering terminal operations and aerodrome services in a remote environment with strong safety requirements.

The role requires Dangerous Goods certification, a C-Class licence, and Australian working rights, with pre-employment medical clearance and police checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold Dangerous Goods by Air certification.
• SA C-Class licence and ability to work FIFO.
• Eligible for ASIC and Federal Police Clearance.
• Pass pre-employment medical clearance including drug/alcohol screen.
• Full working rights in Australia with no visa restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient airport terminal operations, including:
• Passenger check-in (Phoenix)
• Baggage handling, GSE operations and general ramp duties
• Collating flight documentation (manifests, load sheets)
• Aircraft and passenger marshalling
• Freight operations (inward and outward)
• Maintain terminal security
• Maintain cleanliness of terminal buildings and surrounding areas
• Perform aerodrome and grounds maintenance, including mowing, slashing, brush cutting, pruning, sweeping runways/aprons, weed control maintain landscaped areas and general site presentation (airside and landside)
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environment policies and safe work practices
• Adhere to emergency communication, fire and evacuation procedures
• Use PPE as required and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Report hazards, incidents, equipment faults or damage promptly

About the Candidate

Our team is growing and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Airport Reporting Officer who can bring a can‑do attitude, teamwork, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and service to join us at Carrapateena Mine Village and Airport, in South Australia.
