Job summary

ISS is seeking an Airport Reporting Officer to join our team at Carrapateena Mine Village and Airport, South Australia. This full-time role follows an 8:6 roster with 11.5-hour days in a remote environment, requiring fitness, resilience and a can‑do attitude.

You will deliver safe airport terminal operations, security, maintenance and ramp duties, reporting to the Village Manager and working FIFO from Adelaide/Port Augusta.

Qualifications

• ARO and AROC qualifications.
• Dangerous Goods by Air.
• SA C-Class licence.
• Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster.
• Full Working rights in Australia.
• Ability to obtain ASIC and Federal Police Clearance.
• Ability to undergo pre-employment medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient airport terminal operations, including passenger check-in, baggage handling, GSE operations and ramp duties.
• Maintain terminal security.
• Maintain cleanliness of terminal buildings and surrounding areas.
• Perform aerodrome and grounds maintenance.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environment policies and safe work practices.
• Adhere to emergency communication, fire and evacuation procedures.
• Use PPE as required and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Report hazards, incidents, equipment faults or damage promptly.

The Opportunity:

Our team is growing and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Airport Reporting Officerwho can bring a can-do attitude, teamwork, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and serviceto join us at Carrapateena Mine Village and Airport, in South Australia.

You will be employed on a full-time basis on a 8:6 roster, working11.5-hour daysin a demanding, remote environment. This meanssolid fitnessandresilienceare essential—if you’re driven, self-motivated, and ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Village Manager you will be responsible for:

• Deliver safe and efficient airport terminal operations, including:
  • Passenger check-in (Phoenix)
  • Baggage handling, GSE operations and general ramp duties
  • Collating flight documentation (manifests, load sheets)
  • Aircraft and passenger marshalling
  • Freight operations (inward and outward)
• Maintain terminal security
• Maintain cleanliness of terminal buildings and surrounding areas (offices, amenities, carparks, baggage areas, waste removal)
• Perform aerodrome and grounds maintenance, including mowing, slashing, brush cutting, pruning, sweeping runways/aprons, weed control maintain landscaped areas and general site presentation (airside and landside)
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environment policies and safe work practices
• Adhere to emergency communication, fire and evacuation procedures
• Use PPE as required and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Report hazards, incidents, equipment faults or damage promptly

About You:

MUST HAVE:

• ARO and AROC Qualifications
• Dangerous Goods by Air
• SA C-Class licence
• Ability to work FIFO on an 8&6 Roster- Flying out of and into Adelaide/Port Augusta Airport
• Full Working rights in Australia
• Ability to obtain and maintain ASIC and Federal Police Clearance
• Ability to undergo pre‑employment medical clearancedrug and alcohol screen

• Qantas, Qantaslink and Alliance trained
• INX Experience
