Job summary

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) seeks a field logistics and maintenance role in the Alligator Rivers Region, Kakadu National Park.

You will assist with 12V systems, support scientific fieldwork, undertake maintenance on OSS vehicles, vessels and facilities, and help protect people and environment from uranium mining.

Responsibilities

• We are responsible for protecting the people and environment of the Alligator Rivers Region, including Kakadu National Park, from the effects of uranium mining.
• Assist with maintenance and installation of 12V systems.
• Provide logistical support to scientific staff undertaking fieldwork, including stream gauging.
• Undertake various maintenance tasks on OSS vehicles, vessels and facilities; including vehicle cleaning and routine safety inspections.
