Job summary

Four Growers is seeking a Field Technician (Guyra) to serve as the on-site technical authority and face of Four Growers at customer greenhouse facilities. You will deploy, maintain, and repair our robotic harvesters on-site to ensure error-free harvesting performance and maximum uptime, working directly with greenhouse personnel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical and electrical devices)

Your Role

As the Field Technician (Guyra), you are the on-site technical authority and face of Four Growers within our customer's greenhouse facilities. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing our robotic harvesters on-site to ensure error-free harvesting performance. Working directly alongside greenhouse personnel, you will keep our harvesters running at peak operational uptime while working with our engineering team to provide feedback about harvesting performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement field fixes.

Education

High school degree, trade school degree or technical certification preferred

Needed Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with industrial maintenance (mechanical and electrical devices).
• Ability to recognize and troubleshoot common mechanical and electrical components
• Proficiency working with computers
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Experience with diagnosing and reporting technical issues
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Maintains strong relationships with customers through clear communication and reliable support

Physical Requirements

• This role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move products up to and occasionally over 50 pounds along with frequent sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, and walking.
• Ability to work in warm greenhouse conditions
