Job summary

Levanta is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair Levanta’s workshop equipment across Australia. You will service customers onsite, perform maintenance, and provide end-user training while travelling interstate as required.

Applicants should have mechanical trade certification, electrical knowledge and a hands-on, safety-conscious approach. A company vehicle and tools are provided to support field work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy field service role or workshop environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and low voltage electrical systems.
• Operational knowledge of automotive workshops.
• Ability to read, review and interpret maintenance and repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Methodical approach to solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow according to schedule to enable timely completion of tasks
• Carry out work on Levanta products in accordance with manufacturers specifications, regulatory requirements and company policies
• Conduct mechanical repairs and basic electrical repairs following manufacturer instructions
• Provide timely and detailed service reports from work carried out
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Travel to jobs interstate as required (fortnightly)
• Maintain clear communication with service admin team

We provide our customers with workshop solutions that span every aspect of a workshop fitout; from concept and design, sourcing and procurement, equipment supply, through to service and maintenance.

A Levanta Field Service Technician provides prompt, efficient and reliable service to our existing and new customers. Field service technician’s are responsible for installation, troubleshooting, breakdowns, maintenance, end user training and warranty work on Levanta’s range of workshop equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage workflow according to schedule to enable timely completion of tasks
• Carry out work on Levanta products in accordance with manufacturers specifications, regulatory requirements and company policies
• Conduct mechanical repairs and basic electrical repairs following manufacturer instructions
• Provide timely and detailed service reports from work carried out

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade certification or similar
• Restricted electrical licence is desirable but not essential
• Forklift License is an advantage
