Job summary

Linde Material Handling Australia is seeking a driven Field Service Technician to join the Adelaide area team. You will service and repair forklifts and other heavy equipment, diagnose issues, and maintain service van stock.

You will work in a supportive team, participate in after-hours on-call roster, and gain valuable experience with premier forklift trucks in a well-respected company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background, ideally forklifts, heavy equipment, or automotive.
• Experience with diagnosing software and hardware issues is beneficial.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order Spare Parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs and log relevant information.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Manage Service Van Stock Levels and maintenance of tools.
• Coordinate with Service Allocators to complete daily jobs on time.
• Assist in workshop repairs when required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster per policy.

We Offer

Your responsibilities

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Order Spare Parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from office and to log relevant information.
• Customer Service and communication skills.
• Manage Service Van Stock Levels and ensure proper maintenance and care of tools.
• Liaise with the Service Allocators to confirm the jobs assigned every day and ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop.
• Assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts.
