Job summary

Linde Material Handling Australia is seeking a driven Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane. You will work within a supportive group, servicing and repairing forklift trucks, and build a career with a well-respected employer.

This role requires a mechanical background, good customer service, and willingness to go the extra mile. We offer a competitive hourly rate from $43, a company vehicle, and access to training resources, with on-call duties as part of the roster.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background, ideally with forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• Positive attitude to work and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Pre-employment medical and reference checks required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order spare parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs and log information.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Manage service van stock levels and maintain tools.
• Coordinate with service allocators and ensure timely job completion.
• Assist in workshop repairs when needed.
• Support other service technicians as required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call service as scheduled.
• Service and repair forklifts of various sizes and models.

Tasks And Qualifications

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Order Spare Parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from office and to log relevant information.
• Customer Service and communication skills.
• Manage Service Van Stock Levels and ensure proper maintenance and care of tools.
• Liaise with the Service Allocators to confirm the jobs assigned every day and ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop.
• Assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts.

Requirements For Success

You will have a mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive. We're looking for a Technician who has a positive attitude to work, enjoy servicing and maintenance work and are willing to go the extra mile and become a valuable member of our Linde team.
