Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Brisbane area team. You will diagnose and repair forklift-related software and hardware issues, while coordinating parts and service tasks with colleagues and customers to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical background and forklift or heavy equipment experience, with a positive, proactive approach to servicing and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with forklift/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Positive attitude towards servicing and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order spare parts via Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs and log information.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Manage service van stock levels and maintain tools.
• Coordinate with Service Allocators to confirm daily jobs and complete them on time.
• Assist in workshop repairs as needed.
• Support other service technicians as required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster per policy and agreements.
• Service and repair forklifts of various sizes and models.

We are currently seeking a driven and reliable Field Service Technician to join the team at Linde Material Handling around the Brisbane area. Your responsibilities:

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Order Spare Parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs from office and to log relevant information.
• Customer Service and communication skills.
• Manage Service Van Stock Levels and ensure proper maintenance and care of tools.
• Liaise with the Service Allocators to confirm the jobs assigned every day and ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop.
• Assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts.

Requirements for success:

You will have a mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive. We're looking for a Technician who has a positive attitude to work, enjoy servicing and maintenance work and are willing to go the extra mile and become a valuable member of our Linde team.
