Job summary

BTP in Mackay, QLD, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment across multiple project sites for BTP and external clients.

The role requires experience in mining equipment systems, knowledge of CAT SIS and ET, and a current HR drivers license. Eligible applicants with Coal Board medical and Standard 11 may be considered; relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
• Must have practical knowledge of mining equipment systems.
• CAT SIS and ET systems knowledge is mandatory.
• Understanding of statutory/legislative requirements.
• Coal Board medical and Standard 11 where required.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space HRWL preferred.
• HR Drivers license highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment across project sites.
• Complete component changeouts and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with CAT SIS and ET systems and safety standards.
