Hitachi Global Air Power Australia is seeking a Field Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter to service industrial air compressors across Mackay and the Bowen Basin. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with superannuation, paid travel, and site allowances.

You will diagnose faults, provide technical solutions, and work with experienced technicians and OEM support to ensure safe, quality workmanship. Training and career development with Hitachi, Sullair, and Champion brands are available.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial air compressors.
