Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Technician – Mechanical / Diesel in Brisbane, Australia. The role offers $47+/hr based on experience, with overtime, allowances, and a monthly rostered day off.

You’ll service and repair air compressors and industrial equipment on customer sites, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and participate in on-call rotations. Complete training through the Atlas Copco Training Academy and enjoy a tool-of-trade vehicle, laptop and mobile, plus strong support

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical, diesel or other trade qualification.
• Some electrical fault-finding experience is highly regarded.
• Current driver’s licence and availability for an on-call roster.

The Role

Work across customer sites servicing, repairing and maintaining Atlas Copco air compressors and industrial equipment. This role suits a mechanically minded tradie who enjoys fault-finding, diagnostics and working independently in the field.

What You’ll Do

Service and repair industrial air compressors

Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults

Attend breakdowns and complete on-site repairs

Carry out preventative maintenance and upgrades

Who Would This Role Suit?

Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter

Plant Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Mechanical Service Technician with electrical fault-finding experience

What You’ll Need

Relevant mechanical, diesel or other trade qualification

Some electrical fault-finding experience is highly regarded

Confidence working independently and dealing with customers

Current driver’s licence and availability for an on-call roster

What’s on Offer

$47+/hr, with higher rates offered based on skills and experience

Strong earning potential through overtime and paid on-call allowances, with OTE of $110,000–$130,000
