Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Technician in Southeast Melbourne to maintain, service and repair air compressors at customer sites. This role offers autonomy, training through the Atlas Copco Training Academy and a support-ready team, including a vehicle and tech tools for field work.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults and provide on-site repairs, with ongoing service reporting and a focus on delivering quality customer service in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence and availability for on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on our equipment.

Diesel|Mechanical Fitter- Field Service Technician

Competitive Remuneration Package: Hourly rates commence from $47+ per hour with overtime, on-call allowances and incentives, providing the potential for increased annual earnings $110,000-$130,000 OTE.

About the role:

As a Field Service Technician, you will maintain, service and repair air compressors and associated equipment across customer sites throughout Southeast Melbourne. This is an ideal opportunity for a trade qualified technician looking to move into a field-based service role that offers variety and autonomy.
