Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power Australia is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Bundaberg team. You’ll head out to customer sites, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems across a diverse range of industries.

The role offers autonomy, a company vehicle, and meaningful customer interaction in dynamic field environments. You’ll carry out hydraulic repairs, maintenance and fault finding, reading schematics, and documenting service reports while travelling regionally to Rockhampton, Maryborough

Qualifications

• Cert III in Engineering or Diesel Fitter qualification.
• Hands-on experience repairing hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong fault-finding skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Head out to customer sites and diagnose equipment.
• Perform hydraulic repairs, maintenance and servicing.
• Strip, inspect, repair and test hydraulic components.
• Read hydraulic schematics and drawings.
• Complete installations and breakdown work.
• Provide updates to customers and complete service reports.
• Travel across the wider region to towns including Rockhampton, Maryborough and Gympie.
