Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Brisbane, QLD seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to deliver service, fault finding, repairs and commissioning across hydraulic systems both onsite and in the workshop. You will work independently within a close team, upholding quality and safety while building strong customer relationships.

The role involves diagnosing issues, installing and testing hydraulic systems, and identifying parts and service opportunities to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Hydraulics, or similar.
• Experience in field service, repairs and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy equipment environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in the field.
• Strong customer-focused communication and attention to safety.
• Experience using SAP or similar systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Breakdowns & Field Service: Respond to service and breakdown requests, carrying out fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Hydraulic Diagnostics: Diagnose issues and perform testing to restore system performance and reliability
• Installation & Commissioning: Install, commission, and test hydraulic systems and large scale projects
• Maintenance & System Support: Conduct system analysis and recommend maintenance or modernisation solutions
• Customer Support: Build strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery and ongoing engagement
• Parts & Service Opportunities: Identify spare parts and service opportunities to support customer needs and drive service growth
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare service reports, quotations, and quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
