Job summary

Bullivants Townsville is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, maintain and service lifting equipment on customer sites, ensuring safety and reliability of products. This permanent, full-time role involves regional travel and hands‑on work.

You will build strong customer relationships, perform inspections (including test and tag), and install height safety systems to relevant standards, while prioritising safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background preferred.
• Customer focus with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding role.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Autonomous work with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Relevant tickets/licenses including Dogging AND Working at heights highly desirable.

Job description

As a Field Service Technician (FST), you will actively engage with customers onsite, providing support through the ongoing inspection, maintenance, and servicing of Bullivants’ products. Our FSTs are hands‑on and ensure product are functioning optimally and meeting the highest standards of safety and reliability.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based at Bullivants Townsville. Given the nature of the role, there will be the requirement for some travel to customer sites across the region.
